We had a farewell pajama party for Miss Leightyn today. We're sad to be saying good-bye to her but look forward to her visits this summer. We're also excited to meet her soon to arrive baby brother!
Kortlynn loves that she has found her feet and is exploring them every chance she gets! Addie had a blast in the swing today! She really enjoyed the Tickle Monster getting her toes! The whole group got into building with Lincoln Logs. Owen was very proud for building a house completely by himself. Here is Becker working on his letter W is for watermelon.
Becker was really enjoying trains this morning. He some very in depth pretend play that was wonderful to listen to. Kortlynn was smiley as always while her big kid friends napped. Owen took a few moments to peek at me through his fort he built on the loft. The crew worked up an appetite outside while enjoying the excellent weather we had today. We unanimously decided to have our lunch outdoors too! Addie experimented with the moon dough in the sensory bin before closing today.
We spent some time this morning getting messy with shaving cream. Owen and Klayden loved the smell. We experimented with some new magnetic blocks we got. The children really enjoyed building with them. Addie is seeing how much food she can pack into one bag! This is one of her favorite things to do right now! Becker worked on pumping his feet in the swing today!
We did a bit of dressing up this morning! Addie enjoyed the shark costume. Leightyn is pretty in pink! The children all worked hard to make their Mother's Day Cards. Here they are drawing their very best of the inside. Our very tall sunflowers were sent home today as they are now too tall for our daycare window! Kortlynn loved swinging this afternoon!
